What was your favorite space when you were a child? Was it your bedroom or the attic? As a child all I'd like to do was hide. Under my bed sheets or under the long pieces of fabric that my mother kept from past sewing projects. One of my favorite game when my friend Virginie would come over for a play date will be to attach all the sheets together with clothes pins then tie them to the chairs and the bed legs so we'll have a secret hide out. Today when I watch my daughters play, I notice that they like the same things. I am often asked to throw a blanket over the table so they can hide underneath it. They take some books with them and plush toys and start a new adventure. Hiding is the beginning of freedom so let them hide.
Mon bo petit monde is a FANTASTIC blog, full of good vibes. When I saw the cabana bed that this mom made for her son, I totally got it and knew that I will write a post about it. Now I'm sharing and don't forget to visit her blog.

Do you remember when I posted a video from these two awesome little girls. Sisters Lennon and Maisy are always putting a big smile on my face and my daughters love them. Here they are with a cover of the song Call your girlfriend originally by Robin. Enjoy!

I admit it's been hard getting back to work after such nice holidays. But now, I am back on track and here is what you can expect to see from Twiggy and Lou and much more. I am a bit like a jet plane. Once I start, you never know where I am going to stop.
I have a new toy!! It is the unfamous Nikon D-5100, sooo amazing. Well, I am not a pro (yet!) but give me time...

I want a house with a garden and a fireplace, I always did. I can see myself enjoying my morning tea in the garden with my husband while our daughters are playing in the grass. Then, the joy of entertaining our friends around the table and ending with a drink next to the fireplace. That's my dream. Though, in real life, I don't have all that. Someone should write the 101 manual about how to get all that in New York City. Knowing that all that won't happen in the near future, I keep my eyes opened and love it when I find an article about a beautiful apartment like this one. It is simple, full of light with a light color palette and beautiful accessories. Can you see yourself in it? I do.

With the new year comes the new creations! Here are mine. The idea came while searching for charms that I could put in the advent calendars. I had a big crush on a few of them and knew immediately what I was going to do with them. Jewelry for the young ones. Here are my first brooches that my daughters adore. You can now find them in my Etsy shop.
